As the South beauty, Samantha Ruth Prabhu gears up for her upcoming release Shakuntalam, she has some crazy unknown facts about the film that her fans must know. The makers have released two trailers of the film and Samantha looks real as Shakuntala. The film depicts the epic love story of Samantha as Shakuntala and Dev Mohan as Dushyant. The trailers looked tempting, and the grandeur and visuals promised to give fans a feast.

Ahead of its release, Samantha has shared a video which reveals some facts about the film which will surely surprise you. In the video clip, the actress shared that she is allergic to flowers, and as we all know Samantha wore all real flower jewelery for the film. She revealed that she had flower scars on her arms for about 6 months. She thought it was permanent as no one could fix it so she kept applying makeup to hide them. Next is the fact that she dubbed for Shakuntalam, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi in three languages ​​and it was the most difficult task for the actress.

She also revealed that she was bitten by a rabbit and that they are not as cute as they look. She had to dance wearing a 30 kg lehenga and gave about 10-15 retakes because every time she tried to move the lehenga, it would go off camera. Last but not the least, this wasn’t her real hair in the movie. These were quite shocking revelations about the film.

The film is helmed by director Gunasekhar and Kashyapa depicts a whimsical tale of love set in Kanumalu (Kashmir), the grandeur and grandeur of Dushyanta’s Puru dynasty makes the film extraordinary. It will hit the cinema halls worldwide on 14th April.

The film also featured Dev Mohan as King Dushyant of the Puru dynasty. ‘Shakuntalam’ revolves around the epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant, portrayed by Samantha and Dev Mohan of Sufiyum Sujatayum fame, respectively. It will release in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
