The third single of Rajinikanth’s much-awaited “Annathe” has been released and has added to the excitement generated by the other two songs of the film. The song, ‘Marudhani’, is an upbeat track sung by Nakash Aziz, Anthony Dassan and others. Vandana Srinivasan Lyrics of this festive song are penned by Mani Amuthavan, and composer D Imman has composed it in a way that complements Rajinikanth’s larger-than-life image.
Apart from Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh, Meena and Khushboo are also seen with many dancers in the song. The film is about to hit the theaters on the occasion of Diwali. The other two songs – “Annathe Annaatthe” and “Saral Katre” – were released earlier this month. “Annathe Annathe” is special for the audience and the superstar himself as it is the last song sung by legendary singer SP Balasubramaniam (SPB) for Rajini. Since SPB has sung many intro songs for the superstar, this was a much awaited number. Fans too.
Directed by Siva, the film’s cast includes Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, Meena, Khushboo, Keerthy Suresh Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj. The film is being bankrolled by Kalanidhi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures and the release of the third single of the film was announced by the production house on its Twitter handle. The Tamil action drama will premiere on November 4. Let us hope that the audience has liked and appreciated the film as much as they have appreciated its music and teaser.
