Agneepath protest: Did not provoke students against Agneepath: Patna coaching center owner

Agnipath Protest: On Tuesday, a day after raiding the premises of coaching center operator Guru M. Rahman, he released a video clarifying that he was never involved in inciting youth to violence.

“During the initial phase of the movement, I have pointed out the democratic rights of students and every countryman to protest peacefully against government policies like Agneepath. You students can stop trains but not uproot railway tracks. Or damage railway properties. I never ask me to go for violence in my video statement,” Rehman, who is known as ‘daroga (policeman) guru’ in Patna, said in his video statement. Told.

“As far as the violence that took place at Danapur railway station on June 18 is concerned, I have repeatedly said that there were anti-social elements who perpetrated the violence. There were hardly any students present. I always told the students that they should refrain from participating in it. Avoid any kind of violence if even a single FIR is registered against his name, his career will be over.

“The allegations leveled against me are completely baseless,” he said.

On Monday, Patna Police raided Rehman’s house in Naya Tola, besides his four coaching institutes, but did not arrest him.

Apart from that, Bihar Police also registered an FIR against the operators of 7 coaching institutes in Patna and other districts. Rohtas police on Monday arrested the owner of a coaching institute from Cuttack block for inciting students to arson.

Bihar DGP SK Singhal said, “At present, investigation is going on against the operators of coaching institutes related to the violence during the Agneepath agitation. We are taking action against them.
