Corruption charges against Allahabad Bank branch at Bhandardihi, Devandighi, Burdwan. Customers protested in front of the bank on Monday, alleging that money was missing from several accounts of the bank. He demanded immediate refund.
Allahabad Bank has recently merged with Indian Bank. The customers allege that the manager, in connivance with the owner of a customer service center in Vanderdihi area, withdrew money from the customer’s account. There were also allegations of giving fake certificates along with the fixed deposit amount. The matter came to the fore about 1 year ago. Since then, customers were repeatedly called in the name of refund in the bank, but the problem was not resolved.
Meanwhile, someone’s marriage is stuck due to lack of money. Someone died again without treatment. The customers staged a sit-in in front of the bank branch on Monday demanding immediate refund. They claim that the bank manager is corrupt. Bank officials will have to make arrangements to refund the money immediately. No response has been received from the bank in this regard.
