Actor Allu Arjun is currently riding on the success of Pushpa: The Rise. The film, which released in theaters across the country on December 17, is still running successfully worldwide. In just four weeks, the film has earned over Rs 300 crore at the worldwide box office. Pushpa: The Rise has become a worldwide hit and cashing in on the popularity, now the makers of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu have decided to dub the film in Hindi. The Hindi version of Arjun’s superhit film is all set to hit the screens in India later this month, on January 26. Ala Vaikuntapuramulu was released in theaters in 2020 and went on to become one of the highest grossing films of the year. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Ala Vaikunthapuramulu was a commercial entertainer, and the film is currently streaming on Netflix.
Considering Pushpa’s success, the makers plan to release the film Ala Vaikunthapuramulu in Hindi as well and it is not a rumor as trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news via his Twitter handle. Posting the poster of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu, Taran wrote, “Allu Arjun: After ‘Pushpa’, Hindi dubbed version of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramulu’ now in cinemas.” In the tweet, he further mentioned that after the historic success of Pushpa Hindi, Arjun’s much-loved and hugely successful Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapuramulu has been dubbed in Hindi. Taran also revealed that the Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu has a release date across India. Cinemas, Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Pushpa: The Rise is the story of Pushpa Raj, a daily wage laborer turned syndicate chief. Set against the backdrop of a red sandalwood field in the Seshachalam forest of Andhra Pradesh, the music, the iconic style of the star cast, dialogue delivery, and all other elements of the film are on top. Apart from Arjun, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles.
The sequel of the film, Pushpa: The Rule is slated to release in December 2022.
