Amidst slogans of ‘Jai Suheldev’ and ‘Samajwadi Party Zindabad’, the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) led by OBC leader Om Prakash Rajbhar, formerly an ally of the BJP, decided to join Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party before 2022 north. To show solidarity, a confident Yadav wore a yellow dupatta which symbolizes the SBSP, while Rajbhar wore a red cap which represents the Samajwadi Party. Yadav said, “After ‘khela hobe’ in Bengal, it will be ‘kheda hobe’ in UP.
