After Spider-Man No Way Home, Andrew Garfield Is Ready To Play Superhero Again But On One Condition

Money is pouring in for the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe production, Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film has created a buzz around the world and has become the biggest star at the box office since Avengers: Endgame. The film struck the right chord with fans of all age groups.

The film was also a treat for Marvel fans as it reunited some of the oldest characters in the Spider-Man franchise. While some older Spider-Man villains were seen, the biggest surprise was Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire reprising their roles as Peter Parker alongside Tom Holland for an action-packed climax.

Now, in a recent interview with Variety, Andrew Garfield was asked if he would be willing to reprise the role of Peter Parker for another Spider-Man movie. The actor said that he is ready to wear a red spandex suit once again but on one condition. “Yeah, definitely open to anything if it felt right,” he said.

Andrew said he loves the character and cherishes her sense of closure in Spider-Man: No Way Home. “I’m so grateful. I’m really, really grateful that I got the chance to tie up some loose ends to play Peter I,” he said. Recalling his time shooting the film, Andrew remembered the first time all three actors were in their Spider-Man suits.

Andrew reveals that Tom was jealous because Andrew’s suit had zippers, and he could easily take out his hands, while Tom also had to use his nose to access his phone. Andrew also mentioned, “There was talk about going to the bathroom and, you know, padding around the package. We talked about what works for each of us.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home was released worldwide on December 17, 2021, and has grossed over $1.3 billion globally. In addition to Tom, Andrew and Toby, the film also starred Zendaya and Benedict Cumberbatch. With the multiverse unfolding in the film, the MCU has spread into unexplored areas.
