After Show Of Unity With Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot Says ‘No Compromise On Corruption’

TonkRajasthan Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Wednesday said that he will not compromise on the issue of corruption and the future of the youth and the state government should take action in this regard. Addressing the media in Tonk, Sachin Pilot said, “It is not possible for me to make any kind of compromise with corruption and the future of the youth. I had promised the youth in my meeting in Jaipur on 15th May and I had I have put what I said before the party leaders in Delhi and now everything is in the notice of the top party leaders.

Pilot further mentioned that an inquiry should also be initiated into the corruption of the previous state government led by Vasundhara Raje and added that changes should be brought about in the functioning of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC).

“There should be an effective inquiry into the corruption and loot that took place during the tenure of the previous Vasundhara government, as well as justice should be given to the youth who have been wronged. RPSC should also be completely changed. I appreciate the move of the state government. I’m waiting.” Action on all these,” said the pilot.

Sachin Pilot also said that he has done nothing wrong by placing the grievances of youths before top Congress leaders in Delhi as the party has suggested on several occasions that it stands against corruption.

He said, “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has also reiterated many times that our party is against corruption and works on the policy of zero tolerance, as well as our party will not tolerate any kind of atrocities on the youth, so what I Said there’s nothing wrong with that.” Said.

Earlier on Monday, the Congress high command had summoned Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot for separate meetings with party president Mallikarjun Kharge in view of the ongoing political tussle in Rajasthan.

Projecting a united front, the Congress after a meeting with Rajasthan Chief Ministers Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot said the two leaders will fight together against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming elections.

Regarding this, KC Venugopal said, “We have decided to fight the elections unitedly. Definitely we will win the elections in Rajasthan. Both Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot have unanimously agreed to the proposal.”

Earlier, Pilot had launched a 5-day Jan Sangharsh Yatra to protest against the Rajasthan government’s inaction in cases of alleged corruption during the previous Vasundhara Raje-led BJP government in the state.
