New Delhi: Supreme court asked on thursday National Testing Agency To declare the NEET-UG results of children of Resident-Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and ordered the authorities to consider them for admission to MBBS courses in government medical colleges.

After hearing the advocates of the petitioners and ASG Aishwarya Bhati, SC told the petitioners: “You want the best of both the countries. Though you have been living in India for 7-8 years, you have not taken Indian citizenship, which makes your allegiance to the country questionable. “The second possible fear of the government arises from the fact that since you have not given up your citizenship of a foreign country, your children will use India’s resources and then run away to earn more,” SC allows resident-OCI said before giving Children will be considered for admission against the general seats for this academic year only.
