Actress Swara Bhaskar has filed an FIR after she received death threats at her Mumbai residence. Mumbai Police has started investigation. The letter was sent to the actor’s residence in Versova.
After receiving the letter, Swara Bhaskar approached Versova police station two days ago and lodged a complaint against unknown persons, an official told news agency PTI. “Based on the complaint, we have registered a non-cognizable offense against unknown persons,” he said, adding that investigation is on.
In the letter written in Hindi, it has been said that the youth of the country will not tolerate the insult of Veer Savarkar.
comes after Bollywood supper star Salman Khan And his father, veteran writer-producer Salim Khan, had received a threatening letter earlier this month. An FIR has been lodged against an unidentified person in the matter at Bandra police station.

The report quoted a police officer as saying, “Salim Khan follows a morning routine where he goes for walks with his security personnel. There is one place where he usually takes breaks. A chit was left behind on a bench.”
Later, with the help of his security personnel, Salim Khan approached the police and an FIR was registered under Section 506-II (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code at the Bandra Police Station. ANI reported that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was questioned in this regard. He had earlier threatened the actor.
Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey recently said that he has taken the threat letter received by Bollywood actor Salman Khan “seriously”, and all angles of the case will be probed.
