New Delhi: Earlier today, television actress Munmun Dutta responded to reports of dating her Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah co-star Raj Anadkat. While Munmun Dutta plays the role of Babita ji in the serial, Raj plays the role of Tappu in the show. Munmun slammed the ‘aam janata’ in an age-shaming post on the social media platform.
Now, after Munmun, Raj has also shared a statement on his social media which read, “To everyone who is constantly writing about me, think about the consequences that your ‘cooked’ will have in my life. UP’ (false). Stories and that too without my consent about my life. All the creative people out there please channelize your creativity elsewhere it will be helpful for you. May God grant them wisdom.”
Meanwhile, Munmun Dutta’s statement read, “For the general public, I had much better expectations from you. But the mess you have done to even the so called ‘literate’ people in the comment section proves how regressive society we are. Women are constantly age-shamed, slut shamed, mom shamed at the cost of your humor. Whether your humor takes someone to the edge of a mental breakdown is not your concern. Entertaining people 13 years of and it didn’t take any of you 13 minutes to put my dignity aside. So the next time someone is medically depressed or motivated to take their own life, stop and think if it’s your Words were what brought that person to the shore or not.”
Munmun Dutta is popular for her role as Babita Iyer in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ and has been entertaining audiences with her performances for over 13 years.
