After Mammootty, his son Dulquer Salmaan also got UAE Golden Visa

Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan is the latest Indian personality to be awarded the UAE Golden Visa. Introduced by the UAE government in 2019, the ‘Golden Visa’ is a new system for long-term residence visas. It lets outsiders live, work and study in the Gulf states without the need for a national sponsor and with 100 percent ownership of their business on the UAE mainland.

According to a report by gulfnews.com, Dulquer has been granted a 10-year golden visa by the Department of Culture and Tourism, Government of Abu Dhabi. The actor posted a picture on Instagram upon receiving it. “In the presence of Mr. Yusuf Ali, privileged and honored to have received my Golden Visa from His Excellency Saud Abdul Aziz,” Dulquer wrote in the caption accompanying the picture.

“Great to hear about all future plans of the Government of Abu Dhabi to promote film and production activities and encourage new talent both locally and internationally. Production, shooting and more time in Abu Dhabi and UAE Look forward to spending time,” she added.
Last month, his father and superstar Mammootty also received his UAE Golden Visa, which was granted to him at the same time as Mohanlal, another superstar of Malayalam cinema.

Malayalam actors Prithviraj Sukumaran and Tovino Thomas also got UAE golden visas this month.
Among the Hindi film actors, Sanjay Dutt got the Golden Visa of UAE because of his contribution to the world of art, culture and cinema.
