Shakti Kapoor gets COVID19 booster shot

Veteran actor Shakti Kapoor recently revealed that he has received his COVID-19 booster shot, which is an extra dose of the vaccine given after the original shot. The 69-year-old actor took to his Instagram Stories to share a video of him taking a booster dose. He also added the song ‘Love You Zindagi’ Alia Bhatt And Shah Rukh KhanStarrer ‘Dear Zindagi’ in the background. Later, the actor shared videos of him playing ‘Chand Chuppa Badal Mein’ on a guitar while sitting with his friends.

For those unaware, Kapoor has become the latest celebrity to receive a COVID-19 booster shot. Earlier, veteran actor Dharmendra also got this job. Taking to his Twitter handle, the 86-year-old actor shared a video of himself taking a booster dose, saying, “I am taking a booster, booster. Dard bhi nahi hua kuch.” Sharing the video, Dharmendra urged his fans to get vaccinated as well. “Guys, humble request please take a booster dose,” he tweeted along with the video.

A booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine helps people improve protection from the first two doses of vaccination. Health and frontline workers and people above 60 years of age who have co-morbidities are currently eligible to take the job. The campaign began as the entire world battled a spike in COVID-19 cases fueled by the Omicron version of the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Shakti Kapoor is known for his villainous and comedic roles, having acted in over 700 films throughout his career.
