Surat: A 26-year-old married girl jumped from the fourth flooring of a constructing at New Civil Hospital (NCH) on Friday evening. Pappu Solanki, a resident of Althan space died of a number of accidents after she jumped off the Trauma Centre constructing.
Police investigation revealed that the lady dedicated suicide after she learnt concerning the demise of her live-in companion whom she had dropped at the hospital after he had allegedly hanged himself at their house.
Registering a case of unintended demise, Khatodara police began investigation.
Solanki introduced her companion 30-year-old Ravi Solanki in an 108 ambulance to the hospital. After examination on the Trauma Centre, Ravi was declared useless. On studying about this, an upset Solanki went upstairs and took the plunge.
“The suicide sufferer was dropped at hospital by the deceased in an ambulance. Quickly after her companion was declared useless, the lady went upstairs and after some time, we heard the noise of somebody falling on the bottom,” mentioned a physician on the NCH. Solanki was examined by docs and was declared useless on the website.
Ravi had hanged himself at their house in Khodiyar Nagar of Althan. Police are but to search out out the precise motive behind his alleged suicide.
