Another party has entered the fray for the next year’s assembly elections in Punjab. It was launched in Chandigarh in the name of Krantikari Mazdoor Kisan Party. This is the second party in Punjab, after farmer leader Gurnam Chadhuni, to contest elections directly in the name of farmers.

Party chairman Lashkar Singh said that his party will contest all the 117 seats in Punjab. He will not tie up with anyone for elections. His party will come to the polls on the issues of farmers and laborers.
