After smashing back-to-back hundreds, Sanju Samson secured a 3-ball duck as India locked horns with South Africa in the second T20I of the 4-match series on Sunday in Gqeberha. All eyes were on Samson after his scintillating ton against the Proteas in Durban. However, the 29-year-old departed without troubling the scorers on Sunday.
Samson took strike after India were put to bat first. After playing a couple of dot balls, the wicketkeeper looked to make room but exposed all the stumps. Marco Jansen bowled on a good length and the ball shaped in in the air to clip off the top of the leg stump. Samson played across the wrong line and paid the price while Jansen began the game with a wicket maiden.
