Thousands of fans turned up to listen to Backstreet Boys, one of the most popular boy bands across the globe, as they performed at Jio Garden, BKC here on Thursday evening.

The band opened the nearly two-hour gig with the hit song “I Wanna Be With You” and continued to belt out hit numbers one after another, including “The Call”, “Don’t Want You Back” as the crowd went wild . Frenzy, sing along.

“We didn’t know we had so many BSB fans, but now we see it and we love it. This is our second time in India and we’ve been waiting to come to Mumbai for a long time.

After “Drowning”, AJ McLean came out on stage and assured the crowd that they weren’t even halfway done and asked the audience to keep singing, dancing and shouting as much as they could.

Kevin joined them on stage and said that next time “it won’t be just two cities but four, five and six.” It was a night to remember as the band performed some of the most memorable songs of the 90s. People of all age groups could be seen grooving to his beats during his performance.

The band immediately struck a chord with the audience when they performed one of their all-time favorite songs. “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”.

The group was dressed in all black outfits.

The band members were impressed when their hotel staff performed “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” to welcome them here on Wednesday.

Nick Carter later posted a video of himself on Instagram applauding the act. “This is the first time I have seen something like this in my entire career where hotel staff are dancing. It’s crazy!” Carter said in the video.

To show their love for the city, the band tweaked their song “I Want It That Way”. “I want it the Mumbai way,” he muttered.
