Also, 1 kg of liquefied gas is sold for 88 afghani, a liter of petrol for 84 afghani and a liter of diesel is now sold for 75 afghani.

The lack of greenback coupled with high demand in the market is reportedly behind the rise in the US dollar against the Afghani.
