Many of us have become accustomed to leading an unhealthy lifestyle. We are working round the clock and are not controlling our habits which can have disastrous consequences in future. Now, with the onset of a new year, it is high time that we take some time for self-reflection, and aim for changes in our lifestyle. Adopting and giving up some of the following habits can make a positive difference in our lives.

avoid social media

Social media applications including Facebook, Instagram play an important role in increasing anxiety and depression in people. Individuals look at the happy moments in the lives of others and tend to compare them with others. While it is not possible to completely turn off social media, reducing your screen time can have a significant impact. You will see positive changes in your personality.

stop thinking

Try not to constantly think about small things. This habit eventually proves counterproductive. Being bold and feeling adventurous is the next habit you should be targeting this year. Having self-confidence also automatically solves many unrelated problems.

workout everyday

This is another hobby that requires a lot of concentration. Although it helps a lot with the increase in vocabulary and knowledge. If you are just starting out, set small goals for yourself. It can read a book in a month.
