Aditi Rao Hydari-Siddharth Get Married: Actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth tied knot in a 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy and stunned their fans by suddenly dropping off the pictures on Instagram. While their wedding was a secret affair, the couple never shied away from confessing their love for each other. In fact, during one of their interviews with Vogue, Siddharth and Aditi revealed about the dreamy proposal that left the latter with no other option but to say YES!
The Dreamy Proposal
Sharing how it was difficult for her to believe that the love of her life was proposing for marriage, Aditi shared, “I was closet to my nani, who passed away a few years ago. She started a school in Hyderabad. One day, Siddharth asked me if he could see it, knowing full well how close I had been to her. He got down on his knee and I asked him, ‘Now what have you lost? Whose shoelaces are open?’ He kept saying, ‘Addu, listen to me.’ And then he proposed. He said he wanted to bring me to my favourite childhood place, one with my grandmother’s blessings.”

Looking back, Aditi recalled how their story has been very dreamy and book-like, ever since they met. It all started on the sets of their film Maha Samudram in 2021. “He walked in and said, ‘Hello, beautiful girl’.” Aditi mentioned that these kind of lines never work on her, but she sensed Siddharth’s genuine tone and fell hard for him. “By the end of the day, he had me and pretty much everyone on the set in splits. He also ensured that my team and I had ghee idlis whipped up by his cook every day for the rest of the shoot.”
Their love blossomed on the sets and the two began dating eventually. The couple also shared how it was a bit of a challenge to see each other outside work because of all the media attention. Aditi knows the art of being in public spaces and handling the crowd. On the contrary, Siddharth finds it hard being an introvert. “I’ve had my journey with understanding fame over the past 20 years but I still try to go out without a security detail. Now, when we’re together and there are cameras all around us, it makes no sense to me, purely because neither of us is the kind who can live in our ivory tower and not go out in the world,” he had shared with Vogue.

The two made their relationship official by announcing their engagement in March 2024. Aditi revealed that they did it after her mother insisted. “There were so many rumours going around, so to clarify them we decided to put up this photo on Instagram because my mom told me, ‘Please logo ko bata do, call aarahe hai nonstop,” she had shared.
Both of them had shared a picture flaunting their engagement ring, alongside captions that read He said yes! E. N. G. A. G. E. D., and “She Said YES! E. N. G. A. G. E. D.’
