Prabhas and critic i sayThe much-anticipated film, a modern retelling of Ramayana, made its theatrical debut on June 16, evoking intense emotions and attracting huge crowds. Directed by Om Raut and starring Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janki, and Saif Ali Khan Starring Lankesh, the film was released in five languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada). Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film took a sensational opening, hooked the audience and exceeded expectations. Now, the second day estimates suggest that the film continues to be a success despite the controversies.
As per the initial estimates by trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Adipurush has collected a staggering Rs 200 crore globally within two days of its release. Notably, the film earned Rs 37 crore in the Hindi market alone. While confirmed figures are yet to be announced, these early estimates confirm the film’s continued financial triumph amid ban calls.
