Adil Hussain will cook 8 dishes from across India at Korean restaurant in Gangtok

What is Adil Hussain doing in Sikkim? No, definitely not cooking. Or is he? On September 11, the internationally acclaimed actor will prepare 8 special dishes from across India at a Korean kitchen in Gangtok, Sikkim. The actor who hails from Assam will make a special dish called fish and khar, which is very close to his heart as he learned to make the dish from his forehead.

Talking to News18, Adil said, “I want to do a food show but for this I need a year’s time. I will make ‘aloo tik ko achar’ from Sikkim.” The actor, who has mastered many different cuisines, talked about the importance of balancing his hobby with his work. “You need to take the time to do what you like and do what you love. I manage it well.”

He said he would cook on September 11 at his friend’s Korean restaurant Mu Kimchi in Nam Nang, Gangtok.

The actor also took to social media to share a video of a meal from the restaurant. In the video, different food items are seen on a table. She wrote, “I’m having dinner in Gangtok at #Mukimchi. A Korean restaurant in Gangtok. And I’ll be cooking here on Sept 11th. Are you joining me!”

On the work front, the actor was last seen in Ranjit Tiwari’s Bell Bottom. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in lead roles. Set in the 70s and 80s, the film chronicles the life of a RAW agent.
