He said the Adani Group is going to triple its solar power generation capacity in the next four years.
“Our renewable portfolio has reached an initial target of 25GW, which is a full four years ahead of schedule. Today, we are already the largest solar power player in the world.”
Taking a big bet on the potential of renewable energy, he said that the revolution in alternative energy technologies has opened up the possibility of India becoming a net green energy exporter.
“Hydrogen and its derivatives could replace a significant amount of our imports of crude oil, natural gas and coal,” he said.
