Meera Vasudevan will play the role of a mother-in-law in the new serial Madhuranombarakat.

TV actress Meera Vasudevan revealed that she has been working with Vipin on the same project since May 2019, during which they fell in love with each other. The actress earlier said that they registered the marriage on May 24, 2024. However, her fans did not get to see her character Sumitra after her marriage.

After a long time, Meera Vasudevan is gearing up for a new project. She will play the role of a mother-in-law in the new serial Madhuranombarakat that will go on air from tomorrow. The serial will be aired on Zee Keralam channel.

Sharing pictures from her wedding with her fans on social media, the actress also talked about the wedding. “We are officially married. I, Meera Vasudevan @officialmeeravasudevan, and Vipin Puthiyankam @vipin.puthiyankam got married on 21.04.2024 in Coimbatore and we are officially registered as a married couple today,” she wrote in the caption.

Introducing her husband, she added, “Let me introduce you to Vipin properly. He is a Palakkad native from Alathur. He is a DOP/ cinematographer (an international award winner at that). Vipin and I have been working together on the same project since May 2019. We have been seeing each other all of last year and finally tied the knot on 21/04/2024. We had only our immediate family and 2-3 close friends in attendance. Here I am, sharing this blessed official news with you all, my well-wishers, relations, friends and the media who have been my greatest supporters in my professional journey. I hope for you to share the same love and support with my husband Vipin too.”

Meera and Vipin had to face trolling because of their age difference. The reason for the backlash was that Vipin Puthyangam was younger than Meera Vasudeva. Many of the nasty comments on Vipin’s Instagram posts were later deleted by him.
