Actor Vishal’s Tamil Film Laththi Receives U/A Certificate From Censor Board: Report

After Veerme Vaagai Soodum, actor Vishal is all set to take the big screen by storm with the upcoming film Latthi. The 45-year-old actor has carved a niche for himself in Tamil cinema with his performances in popular films such as Chellamaye, Sandakozhi, Thimiru, Thiradha Vilayattu Pillai, Avan Ivan, Thupparivalan, and Irumbu Thirai. Now, he is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film Latthi directed by Vinod Kumar.

As per the latest buzz around Latthi, it is reported that the Vishal-starrer has received a U/A certificate from the censor board. The film will hit the theaters on 22 December. Latthi is touted to be an action thriller. Apart from Tamil, it will also release in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages ​​this Christmas.

Apart from Vishal, Latthi stars Sunaina and Prabhu in lead roles. The film was initially expected to hit the theaters on 12 August, but due to production delays, its release date was postponed to 15 September. Latthi also missed its second release date due to unknown reasons and is finally set to open in theaters on December 22.

Ahead of the film’s release, its first single, Dating Devils-Tho Dating, was released on Vishal’s YouTube channel in October this year. The track is sung and composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja along with co-singer Prithvi Chandra.

Vishal will be seen playing the role of S Muruganantham, a police officer in Latthi. The film’s dialogues are penned by Pon Parthipan while its music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Directed by Vinod Kumar, the film is the 12th film between Yuvan and Vishal. Lathi is produced by Ramana and Nanda.
