Hyderabad Police raided a pub at the posh Radisson Blu Hotel in Banjara Hills and caught 150 people for partying beyond the stipulated time in violation of rules. The raids were carried out in the early hours of Sunday.
Among the 150 detainees are Tollywood actor Naga Babu’s daughter, actor Niharika Konidela, singer and winner of the third season of Bigg Boss Telugu reality show Rahul Sipliganj, Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission chairman and former AP DGP (HOPF) Gautam Sawang and daughter of Guntur Huh. In a raid conducted at 2:30 am on Sunday, the officials recovered drugs like cocaine and weed from the premises of the pub.

Meanwhile, Rahul Sipliganj reacted strongly to the police action saying that they have nothing to do with the drug case. “I went to a friend’s birthday party, and I didn’t take drugs, and I wasn’t used to drugs. I didn’t even know what real drugs were.”
“The police should talk to the owner of the pub if he’s been running well past midnight, so what’s the point of bothering us by calling like that?” Rahul asked.
