Actor Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident on the inaccessible Cheruvu cable bridge

New Delhi: Actor Sai Dharam Tej, who worked in the Telugu film industry, met with an accident on the inaccessible Cheruvu cable bridge this evening. He is the nephew of megastar Chiranjeevi and he reportedly met with an accident while driving his sports car.

Sai Dharam Tej was taken to Medicover Hospital after the accident. According to a report in The Hindu, the actor is likely to be shifted to Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills. DCP M Venkateswaralu, in-charge of Madhapur, while talking to the leading daily said, “The accident happened at around 8.30 pm near Knowledge City in IT Corridor. The actor was on his Triumph bike going from Jubilee Hills to Gachibowli when he lost control and the bike slid on the road.

The Hindu report further stated that Sai Dharam Tej suffered injuries to the head, chest, arms and other parts of the body.

As per the official communication, the actor is doing absolutely fine. Srinivas Kumar confirmed the update on his Twitter and wrote, “Official communication – @IamSaiDharamTej is absolutely fine and doing fine. Nothing to worry. He is being taken precautionary care at the hospital.”

In another tweet, the Telugu filmmaker revealed that Sai Dharam will regain consciousness in half an hour. He tweeted, “@IamSaiDharamTej is safe and will regain consciousness in half an hour Apollo Hospitals will give official health bulletin, in some please don’t speculate rumours, he is safe and he will be normal says #AlluAravind garu with Media”.

Srinivas in his tweet also revealed that the actor was wearing a helmet. He tweeted, “#SaiDharamTej was wearing a helmet and was not drinking. His bike slipped due to the mud on the road. He is out of danger and is undergoing treatment. : Madhapur Police Statement”.

Sai Dharam is also the cousin of actors Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Allu Sirish, Varun Tej and Niharika Konidela.
