Actor Rajinikanth admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai

The actor’s publicist Riyaz K Ahmed told PTI: “It is a periodic health check-up. He is now in a private hospital for check-up.” The 70-year-old actor traveled to Delhi as he was conferred the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest film honour, by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on October 25. Later, he also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind. .

On Wednesday (October 27), Rajinikanth shared some pictures from their meeting on Twitter. He also shared that it was a great pleasure to meet the PM and the President. “It is a great pleasure to meet and greet the respected President and Prime Minister,” he tweeted.

Earlier, in December 2020, the actor was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad after experiencing exhaustion and fluctuations in his blood pressure. He was shooting for a Tamil film ‘Annathe’ at that time. He recovered and was discharged within two days at that time.

Earlier, Rajinikanth’s kidney transplant has also been done.
