Actor Kavya Madhavan, wife of Malayalam actor Dileep, has been summoned by the Kerala Crime Branch on Monday to appear for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation at the police club in Aluva, Ernakulam.
Dileep has been charged with the kidnapping and sexual assault of a fellow actor in 2017 and conspiracy to kill the investigating officers in the case. He was arrested but is currently out on bail.
There are ten accused in the kidnapping-attack case, of whom seven have been arrested.
