South star Dhruva Sarja, fondly known as the “Action Prince” of Kannada cinema, made a grand entry at the Martin trailer launch and international press meet, arriving in an auto-rickshaw. The event, held at PVR ICON in Juhu today, saw the actor opting for a three wheeler to ensure he arrived on time, much to the surprise and admiration of fans and the media.
Dhruva, dressed in an eye-catching white outfit with black accents, including a jacket emblazoned with bold patterns and his signature long hair flowing freely, looked every bit the star as he stepped out of the rickshaw. The jacket featured striking designs and text, adding a touch of flair to his otherwise casual, yet stylish look. His pants, adorned with matching black straps, completed the ensemble, giving him a rugged yet trendy appearance. He paired the look with white sneakers, effortlessly blending comfort with style.
Dhruva, always the gentleman, made sure to pay the auto-rickshaw driver and thanked him for the ride before interacting with the media. His humility shone through as he posed with the rickshaw, taking a moment to appreciate the auto ride that helped him beat the Mumbai traffic.
“I was running out of time. It doesn’t matter whether I come by car or auto. I wanted to be on time. I didn’t want anybody to wait for me,” Dhruv told the paps.
The trailer for Martin, directed by AP Arjun and starring Dhruva in the lead role, was released today. The film, an action-packed Kannada thriller, is set to hit theatres on October 25, 2024, and promises to be a gripping tale of an Indian Army officer’s quest for identity.
