Actor Ashish Tyagi to play a parallel role in Squad
Actor Ashish Tyagi, who was last seen in ALTBalaji’s web series ‘Bose’, will be seen essaying the role of a witty, technical and intelligent boy in Zee5’s upcoming feature film ‘Squad’, which is releasing on November 12.
Squad is centered around a royal battle of special forces, with emotional ties at its core, between Bheem (Rinjing Denzongpa), a Marcos commando deserted from the army, and Mimi (Dishita Jain), an orphaned 6-year-old. The child, about whom nothing is known. his life or family. His loneliness is the only thing in the world.
Talking about his character, Tyagi revealed, “Girish is a guy who looks funny, technical, nerdy, intelligent and oddly a bit funny. He is the one who wants to live a simple life and stay mostly at his office desk and of course miles away from trouble. However, his team often drags him into complex dangerous situations. He further says, “I have high hopes from this film. We are a group of enthusiasts trying to tell an engaging action thriller which is going to be a roller coaster ride for our viewers. We all have worked hard for the film and we want it to reach as many audiences as possible. We started shooting before the pandemic and no one knew that we would face so many challenges in between. We are proud that despite the many challenges including the pandemic, we were able to make this amazing film and I am sure it is going to entertain people and give them the much needed post-pandemic dose. “
