JAIPUR: There were no deaths due to Covid in the state for the second consecutive day on Friday, while 131 tested positive for the virus, taking its total tally to 9,51,826.
The death toll in the state is 8,905. With this, the active cases in the state have now come down to 1,873.
Most COVID-dedicated hospitals have been left with 5% or less of patients with mild symptoms.
Also, most of the districts in the state have less than 100 active cases, while some have 300 to 400 active cases. RUHS superintendent Dr Ajit Singh told TOI, “We have started giving relief to our employees and started their regular leave and long pending weekly off.”
Despite the decline in cases, health officials stressed the need to follow COVID-appropriate behaviour. “This is the most difficult time when many restrictions are relaxed.
