‘Acting Monster’: Director Ajay praises Chiyaan Vikram by wrapping up Cobra

Vikram was to complete his portion by December 18, 2021.

The film Cobra has created a lot of interest among the audience as it also marks the acting debut of former cricketer Irfan Pathan.

Actor Chiyaan Vikram has completed shooting for his portions for the action thriller Cobra, director Ajay Gnanamuthu announced recently. Vikram will play a serious man in this spy thriller drama. The Tamil film also stars Shruddhi Shetty, KS Ravikumar, former cricketer Irfan Pathan and Mia George.

Sharing pictures of Vikram with the crew of Cobra on Twitter, Ajay described shooting with Vikram as a “magical experience” and called the actor an “acting monster”.

Vikram was to complete his portion by December 18, 2021. However, he tested positive for Covid-19 and had to isolate himself. The team had to wait for his recovery and now he has completed shooting.

The film has created a lot of interest among the audience as it also marks the acting debut of former cricketer Irfan Pathan. The former Indian pacer will be seen playing the role of a Turkish Interpol officer in the film, which follows Vikram.

Composer AR Rahman composed the music for the film. The film will be produced by SS Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studios. It is being told that the film will be released by the end of this year. However, the makers have not commented on the release date.

Meanwhile, Vikram will next be seen in Kartik Subbaraj directed Mahan. The action thriller, directed by Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studios, is slated to release this Republic Day on 26 January 2022.
