Appointment letters are being distributed from February 23
The distribution of appointment letters to the selected candidates has started from today i.e. Wednesday 23 February. About 20 districts including Patna will hand over teachers’ appointment letters in a day. Whereas in big districts like Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Begusarai, Samastipur, Khagaria this process can go on for three days till February 23, 24 and 25. Whereas at some places this process is likely to continue till 26 February.
Teachers will be able to teach in the school of their choice
The Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department said that the candidates are being posted to the schools of their choice. Here their certificates are also being checked. After the certificate is found correct, the teachers will start getting the salary. At the same time, whose certificates have not been verified, they will be given after the completion of the investigation. The certificates of all the candidates will be verified by 30 September.
Appointment was pending for last three years
In fact, for the last three years in Bihar, the process of appointment of these teachers was not being completed. The Education Department had issued the notification for the appointment of 91 thousand elementary teachers on July 5, 2019. After this it was postponed on 11 February 2020. Then many times it got delayed due to the matter going to the court. And now the appointment letter is being given to the candidates
