Indian fans were seen hounding Shaheen Shah Afridi in a video that has since gone viral on social media.
India and Pakistan face off in a blockbuster T20 World Cup clash at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Sunday.
Ahead of the marquee clash, some Indian fans were seen hounding Shaheen Shah Afridi in a video that has since gone viral on social media.
“We have come here to watch a special match, but we got a nice surprise,” one fan can be heard saying in the video.
One fan can even be heard asking the Pakistan pacer “not to bowl a good spell against India”, while another requested Shaheen to think of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as his friends.
Throughout the interaction, Afridi stayed calm and had a smile on his face as he interacted with the Indian fans. One fan can be heard saying, “may the best team win.”

Pakistan come into the all-important game after a Super Over loss to hosts USA in a Group A game at Dallas on Thursday.
