Acer India today announced the launch of its new “Slim & Light” laptop – Acer Swift X84,999 at a starting price of Rs. The laptop RTX 30 series is the first of its series to come with discrete graphics. it is powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors and the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. The company claims that with 4.4GHz, 8 cores and 16 processing threads, the laptop is capable of churning out 4K video through spreadsheets with ease.
The Acer Swift X will be available at Acer Online Store, Flipkart, Acer Exclusive Stores, Vijay Sales and other authorized retail stores.
Acer Swift X: Display, Memory, Storage & Other Specs
The Swift X sports a 14-inch FHD IPS display with 85.73% screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits brightness, and 100% sRGB. The laptop comes in what the company likes to call a “sliced metal body” at 1.39kg and 17.9mm sharp. The laptop offers up to 16GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage. Swift X is backed by a 59Wh battery, with up to 15 hours of backup, and comes with fast charging support.
The laptop includes a fingerprint sensor for more secure sign-in via Windows Hello, AI-enhanced noise suppression for easier video calls, and Acer BlueLightShield technology to help reduce eye strain.
Acer Swift X: Thermal Management Features
The new Swift X comes with a fan of 59 blades, 0.3 mm and dual D6 copper heat pipe for better cooling. The company claims that the stereo ring with a tilted plane at the top of the fan brings in more volume of air with a wider air vent, allowing for more air intake and improving airflow by 5-10%. Furthermore, the air inlet keyboard design is meant to expel 8- 10% more heat than keyboards without air inlet, claims the company.
