The drunken driver of a chemical tanker (MH 04 GF 4225) was going from Mumbai to Gujarat. The tanker overturned near Gaymukh, the head of the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of the Thane civic body. Santosh Kadam Said.
Officials of Kasarvadavali police, local fire brigade, RDMC and other officials reached the spot.

By 8:15 am, the rescue operation was successfully completed and the officials pulled the tanker to the side of the road to ensure smooth traffic.
