Amid the on-going credit war between Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao for the success of Stree 2, Abhishek Banerjee has said that the film belongs to everyone. Abhishek mentioned that the beauty of Stree 2 is that it belongs to everyone and everything else is unfortunate noise. Abhishek Banerjee told Zoom TV, “I don’t understand PR. I don’t understand the kind of conversations that happen on social media. Whenever something is successful, there will always be some negative points. Kuch toh negativity chahiye logo ko jisse voh baat karein, cheezon ko bada banaye. We don’t focus on these things.

Actor Siddique has lodged a police complaint against junior artiste Revathy Sampath after she accused him of sexual assault. In his complaint to the Director General of Police, Siddique claimed that the allegations are part of a larger agenda.
