Shweta Bachchan is celebrating her 48th birthday today. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya Bachchan’s lovely daughter Shweta had organized a birthday party to celebrate the occasion. To make his day special, many fans on social media showered his birthday wishes and also included actor-brother Abhishek Bachchan. The Dhoom actor shared an adorable video compiling some precious moments between the two while taking a walk down the memory lane.
The compilation video features throwback pictures of Abhishek-Shweta, one of which shows the two as children while the other is seen celebrating the festival of Rakshabandhan. The video is a timeline of memories between the brother-sister duo.
In the caption, Abhishek wished his lovely sister a happy birthday. He wrote, ‘Happy Birthday Shweti. Big on you!”
As soon as Junior Bachchan shared the post on the photo-sharing-platform, comments poured in from his fans and followers. While one fan wrote, “Happy birthday Shweta ji” another fan commented, “Such cute pics. Happy birthday.”
Katrina Kaif also shared Shweta’s picture on her Instagram story and wished her a happy birthday. Together they wrote, ‘Happy birthday to the best woman @shwetabachchan all the love to you.
Talking about Shweta’s birthday bash, many Bollywood celebrities attended this grand celebration. Gauri Khan, Manish Malhotra, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Karan Johar, Aryan Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, Maheep Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan made their presence felt at the party.
Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai were seen missing at the party. While the reason for his absence is unclear, Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog and wished him the ‘first born’. He wrote, “As it is nearing the hour, the wish will be pronounced for the first born – Shweta, who was named by Babuji as Shvetambara, who was wearing white, Saraswati, the goddess of learning.. Good sense!”
Meanwhile, Abhishek and Aishwarya were spotted at the airport on Wednesday night with their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The couple and their daughter were reportedly going for a holiday. In the video shared by the paparazzi on Instagram, Aishwarya was seen dressed in black for the flight, while Abhishek opted for a gray sweatshirt and track pants. Aaradhya was seen in a white sweatshirt and a pair of black pants for the trip.
On the work front, Abhishek will be next seen in Dasvi, which also stars Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur. The film is based on the story of Ganga Ram Choudhary who is in jail and wants to give his 10th board exams. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film will release on April 7, 2022 on Jio Cinema and Netflix.
