Abhinav Shukla argued that he does not pay attention to what Avinash Sachdev says because “can’t tell me that she is like that.”
Television actor Abhinav Shukla has reacted to Avinash Sachdev’s comments about his actress-wife Rubina Dilaik. In a recent interview, Avinash, who dated Rubina in the past, called her “possessive and insecure”. Now, Abhinav has urged everyone not to talk about their past relationship once it is over “because it does not help”.
“My advice to lots of youngsters out there, who are dating, who are in a relationship and who are conscious and do not wish to spoil their life, here is a golden rule – When a relationship is over, it’s over! Be a man, do not talk about that girl, do not talk about anything from the past because it doesn’t help,” Abhinav said in a recent interview as quoted by Pinkvilla.
“What has ended, has ended. ‘We have broken up but we are still friends’- This has come from Hollywood. You can’t be friends. Because if you have broken up with the person with whom your emotions were involved. You can’t be friends with them so cut them off,” the actor added.
Abhinav further argued that he does not pay attention to what Avinash says because he “can’t tell me that she is like that.” He further called Avinash’s comment “trivial” and argued that there is no point talking about the past.
“It’s a very trivial thing. I have worked with him and I find him like an okay guy. There is no point in talking about the past and even if he is doing it, I don’t care. I have dated women in this city and if somebody comes to know who all, they will be shocked because I have never spoken a word about them and I will never even speak because it’s their dignity,” he said and revealed that he does not even discuss this with Rubina.
Rubina Dilaik and Avinash Sachdev met on the sets of their 2008 show Choti Bahu and fell in love with each other. It was Rubina’s debut show. The two dated for some time but then broke up. The actress then started to date Abhinav Shukla and married him in June 2018. Last year, the couple embraced parenthood and welcomed their twin daughters.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rubina Dilaik is known for shows like Choti Bahu, Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed and Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. On the other hand, Abhinav Shukla also featured in Choti Bahu and Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka among others. The couple also participated in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 14 which was won by Rubina Dilaik.
