Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh recently celebrated the success of their film Munjya’s TV Premiere. The actor shared glimpses of the celebration on his Instagram stories.

Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh’s horror-comedy film Munjya has been quite a hit. After its OTT release last month, the film marked its TV premiere recently. As the crew celebrated their success, Abhay Verma expressed his gratitude to the audience who appreciated the film. He also acknowledged his pleasure of working with Sharvari and referred to her as ‘Tani partner’ to his ‘Suri pappe’ from the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh recently celebrated the success of their film Munjya’s TV Premiere. The actor shared glimpses of the celebration on his Instagram stories. The first snap featured both of them posing together as Abhay humbly stated, “Love you all for making Munjya’s premiere the biggest.” In the second picture, both the actors were seen posing near a poster cutout and Abhay candidly appreciated Sharvari and wrote, “Tani partner to my Suri pappe.” This was a reference to the 2008 romantic comedy film In Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi where Shah Rukh Khan played both Surinder Sahni (Suri) and Raj Kapoor, and Anushka Sharma essayed the role of Tani also referred to as Tani partner in the film.

Meanwhile, another image shared by Abhay Verma showed the entire team gathered to cut a cake. Along with the snap, Abhay mentioned, “This definitely felt more than cutting my birthday cake.

Munjya is a horror/comedy set in Pune and the Konkan region. In addition to Sharvari and Abhay, Mona Singh plays a crucial role in the film. It tells the narrative of the eponymous mythical creature who causes havoc in the life of Bittu, played by Abhay. While attempting to unravel the spirit’s mystery, he struggles to safeguard the woman he is in love with. It was a horror comedy directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and part of Maddock Films’ supernatural universe.

Following the success of Munjya, reports suggest that Abhay has been cast in Shah Rukh Khan’s King. One of SRK’s most anticipated upcoming ventures, King is also expected to feature Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in prominent parts. Prior to Munjya, Abhay Verma appeared in supporting roles in The Family Man, Ae Watan Mere Watan and Safed.
