Ahead of the Punjab elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has become very excited with the victory in Chandigarh Municipal Corporation. AAP held three press conferences within 4 hours. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia reached Chandigarh to hold the last press conference.

BJP said – we will also try to make mayor

Despite being out of power in Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, the hope of BJP remains intact. In this election, 3 leaders who were the mayor of the corporation lost to the BJP. Despite this, BJP’s Chandigarh President Arun Sood said that they have got 14 seats. He will also try to make the mayor again in the municipal corporation. He claimed that AAP may have won more seats but their vote share is more.

Chandigarh Congress chief Subhash Chawla, which won 8 seats, said that BJP and AAP spent a lot of money in the elections. It was not honest money. Advertisements worth crores of rupees were given. He said that in Chandigarh, BJP and AAP fought elections as A and B teams so that Congress could be ousted. He succeeded in this but we reached from 4 to 8 seats.
