It was speculated that Aamir Khan’s son Junaid will be seen in the Lagaan actor’s home production Pritam Pyare. However, according to a recent report, Junaid will not be a part of Pritam Pyare’s star cast and will be involved in the film only on the creative side. Refuting the rumors of Junaid starring in Aamir’s film, a source close to the development told PeepingMoon.com: “Pritam Pyare is a quirky small-town story about two brothers, Pritam and Pyare. Junaid is not a part of the cast, as is rumored in the media. It is a small film with a big heart and Aamir has an impressive cameo. He shot for his special appearance during the Rajasthan schedule of the film last month. ,
The source added that the shooting of the film is currently underway in a studio in Mumbai and will be completed by the end of this month.
Pritam Pyare stars Sanjay Mishra and Neeraj Sood in lead roles. This will be the directorial debut of Sunil Pandey, who has been associated with Aamir’s banner for the past 15 years and has since been assisted in feature films by the production house.
Earlier, in an interview with News18, Aamir opened up about Junaid being interested in films and said: “Junaid will be entering the industry soon. I have always told my kids that whatever they want to learn, I will support them. Once Junaid approached me and said that he wants to learn theatre. I asked him if he had any interest in films, he replied that he is interested in films, but he is more interested in theater and wants to learn.
Junaid has also been signed by Yash Raj Films for the lead role in Maharaja. The film is reportedly directed by Sidharth P Malhotra. With this project he is going to debut in Bollywood.
Meanwhile, Aamir will be seen in his much-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film will release in August this year.
