Punjab Elections: Aam Aadmi Party announced 5 more candidates for Punjab elections. (Representative)

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday announced five more candidates for the Punjab Assembly elections.
According to the party’s seventh list of candidates, Lalli Majithia has been given ticket from Majitha assembly seat.
Mr. Majithia had left the Congress party and joined AAP on January 1.

At present, Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia is represented from Majitha seat.
Ajay Gupta will contest from Amritsar Central seat, Kashmir Singh Sohal from Tarn Taran, Surinder Singh Sodhi from Jalandhar Cantt and Baljit Kaur from Malout, the AAP said.
The total number of candidates declared by the main opposition party of Punjab now stands at 101.
Punjab has 117 assembly seats.
