Love for the mother tongue is different. And you will get your Aadhar card in the same mother tongue. UIDAI has given information about making Aadhar card in local language.

Not only Bengali. Aadhaar cards will be available in English, Assamese, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Gujarati, Oriya, Kannada, Malayalam and Marathi.

How to change the language of Aadhar card?

If you want regional language in Aadhar card then you have to apply for it. You can do it offline by visiting the local Aadhaar center. Otherwise you can do it online sitting at home. Check out how to update regional language on Aadhar card online:

1) Firstly official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/ to open.

2) Here in the Update Aadhaar section, click on ‘Update Demographic Data Online’.

3) Now open the page, enter your 12 digit Aadhar number in the specified space. Fill the captcha and click on send OTP.

4) Almost immediately a 6 digit OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar linked mobile number.

5) Log in using this OTP.

6) Click on Update Demographics Data option.

6) Here you will get the option to choose the regional language. From there, just watch the preview and submit.

There is a charge for changing the language of Aadhaar. Payment can be made online. Once the card is updated in 1-3 days, it can be downloaded.
