Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy formally took over as the new President on Wednesday Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad.

A massive rally took place from Peddamma Temple in Jubilee Hills to Gandhi Bhawan in Nampally, ahead of Revanth’s swearing-in ceremony as TPCC President.
Revanth offered prayers at the Peddamma temple and sought divine blessings.
Later, he led the rally to Yusufeen Dargah and paid tribute to him in line with the secular ideology of the Congress.
Special prayers were offered at the temple and dargah for the successful tenure of Revanth Reddy as TPCC President.
Congress leaders and workers from different parts of the state participated in the rally.
The appointment of Revanth as the President of TPCC is expected to give a new lease of life to the Congress in Telangana and is a much-needed morale booster for the cadre.
Revanth is expected to address Congress workers and leaders soon.
Congress Legislature Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka, All India Congress Committee in-charge for Telangana Manickam, Tagore and all senior party leaders were present.
