It won’t be wrong to say that this Spanish film will give some unsettling chills to you, and for a good reason. Set in 1991 Madrid, it focuses on a teen girl who gets possessed after holding a seance at school with her friends, only to find the evil force entering her family.
Gerald’s Game
Mike Flanagan’s Gerald’s Game perfectly aced Stephen King’s original work. Seemingly overlooked among the bunch of spooky horrors, the film’s chilling descent into madness and the powerful performances from actors will scare you more than anything. Things take a dark turn when a man leaves his wife handcuffed to a bed in a remote lake house.

The horror anthology series, which debuted in 2016, focuses on a masked murderer who goes on a killing spree with an unknown motive. Spanned across three seasons so far, the serial killers would be seen leaving carnage in their wake as their victims fight to stay alive.
The Fall of the House of Usher
Drawing inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe’s short story, this Netflix limited series revolves around the deaths of a pharmaceutical company’s CEO’s children. The bone-chilling story shows the wealthy family jostling for power amid their sordid secrets. The show’s style and tone give much of a gothic horror feel.
