Bommai took to Twitter to pay an emotional tribute to Puneet, saying he was “the most loved superstar”.

Puneet Rajkumar died of a heart attack on Friday. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru.
The matinee idol Rajkumar’s son Puneet is fondly called ‘Appu’ by his fans. He started his career as a child artist with his father in the early 80s. ‘winddown‘, ‘Hudugru’, and ‘Anjani Putra’ are some of his memorable films. He was last seen in ‘Yuvratna’, which released earlier this year.
