There was chaos in Amethi around 12:30 on Sunday night when a speeding truck and Bolero collided badly. 6 people including a child died in the accident, while 4 people were seriously injured. Police took the injured to the district hospital. From here all have been referred to Trauma Center Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over the death of people in this painful accident.
The incident took place near Babuganj Sagra of Gauriganj Kotwali area of Amethi. Bolero was coming from Lucknow to Amethi. The collision was so severe that the Bolero got blown up. 10 people were aboard the Bolero. Of these, 5 died on the spot, one died in the district hospital.

Anil Bolero of Amethi Kotwali area was going to procession from his in-laws’ house along with his companions. The truck hit near Mouni Maharaj’s ashram. Anil was seriously injured in the accident. Apart from this, 6 including Kallu, his son and Krishna Kumar Singh died. 4 including Lavkush, Mukesh and Anuj have been injured. Four of the dead are said to be residents of Gungwach in Amethi Kotwali area.
All the injured have been referred to Lucknow Trauma Centre.
