A divided country will never rule the world: Salman Khurshid of Congress

New DelhiAs incidents of communal clashes and hate violence continue to rise in India, senior Congress leader and former Union minister Salman Khurshid, who was recently targeted for his “Hindutva-ISIS” remarks, said on Friday That a divided nation will never rule. Urged the world and people to replace fear with faith.

“We cannot live by stone pelting and demolition alone. In the former injustice was felt and in the latter by the arrogant abuse of law the injustice was done. A divided nation will never rule the world, hence the policy of divide and rule at home.” Leave it. Faith should replace fear, don’t be afraid,” Khurshid said in a Facebook post.

“Muslims, as always, will lay down their lives for the nation, but when their children are attacked with unnecessarily hatred, they feel hurt. When the state chooses to destroy homes and lives by bypassing the rule of law If so, what respect is left for patriotism?” He added.

In a social media post, Khurshid was referring to the demolition of houses of some people involved in the attack on a Ram Navami procession a day after communal clashes in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh.

The district administration and police demolished the illegal buildings of the miscreants involved in the attack on the Ram Navami procession.

Officials used bulldozers on about 45 houses and shops. Around 16 houses and 29 shops were demolished.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday assured the victims of Khargone violence of rebuilding their homes.

Chouhan said, “Shouldn’t bulldozers be used against those who harass the poor? The houses of the poor were burnt in Khargone. They should not worry as ‘mama’ will build their houses. We will overcome those who burnt their houses.” ” ,

Regarding Salman Khurshid, the Congress leader made headlines in November after drawing a comparison between Hindutva and radical Islamist groups like ISIS in one of his books.
